This writer recently took a trip on a balloon safari piloted by Bill Harrop himself, and experienced the wonder of possibly the most romantic mode of transportation.

Homeless World Cup 2006

Five hundred players from 48 countries will descend upon Cape Town from September 25 – 30 to participate in the 2006 Homeless World Cup soccer tournament. Uniting homeless people from as far afield as Afghanistan, Argentina, Brazil, China, England, Ukraine and the US, this world-class sporting event will set the tone for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
