This latest release in i-mate™’s popular SmartPhone series is a very stylish, businesslike phone with the features and functionality of Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 5. It continues the previous SmartPhones’ reputation for a brilliant, crisp display with a 2.2” LCD with 64000 colours and an LED backlight.

Like its predecessors, the SP5 is a quad-band phone that doubles as a modem over USB, infrared or Bluetooth. It now also supports EDGE as well as GPRS for speeds up to 224kbps, and has 802.11b wireless support (WiFi as well. Windows Mobile 5 brings with it Pocket Outlook, Word, Excel and Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player, Messenger, games and audio recording. In spite of all the added functionality, battery life is even longer with up to 5 hours talk time and 250 hours standby. The built-in camera gives you 1.3 megapixels at up to 1280x1024 resolution for high-quality stills and video clips with a Night Mode for low light conditions.
